Evil

The foundation of Christ 1 Corinthians 3:11; p...

The extremes of good and evil are becoming more pronounced in our world. The masks are coming off. It is as if the good are departing on a ship and evil remains on the land. The apathetic remain on the loading dock. As the ship pulls away, the apathetic, uncommitted, indecisive, unsure, impatient, unfaithful and unloving herd who went through life without armor fall away and drown.
Evil is apathy and apathy begins by having a lack of faith.
The good wins when the apathetic are no more because evil is sustained by apathy.

“Apathy and Evil. The two work hand in hand. They are the same, really…evil wills. Apathy allows it.” -Jake Thomas

“Apathy is the glove in which evil slips it’s hand.” – Anonymous

“It is much easier always to prevent an evil than to rectify mistakes.” -G. Washington

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing” Edmund Burke

“When evil men plot, good men must plan. When evil men burn and bomb, good men must build and bind. When evil men shout ugly words of hatred, good men must commit themselves to the glories of love.” – Martin Luther King

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13:6-7)

Can you name one difference between world opinion and left-wing opinion?

Interesting take on world opinion. Prager says: “world opinion” is a creation of the Left, reported by the Left.
Interesting take on world opinion.

I’ve often said in my comments that world opinion is meaningless. In reality, it is less than meaningless. It is outright soft propaganda.

Prager says it best: “world opinion” is a creation of the Left, reported by the Left.

clipped from townhall.com

Here are examples of major world issues and what is deemed “world opinion.” They happen to all be Leftist views as well.

– hatred of President George W. Bush and admiration of President Barack Obama

– Manmade carbon emissions lead to global warming and devastation of the environment. Therefore, the world’s nations must tax carbon-based energy.

– The American invasion of Iraq was morally wrong, motivated by desire for oil.
– Israel is bad, as exemplified most recently by the Turkish flotilla incident.
– The American free-enterprise system is inferior to Europe’s welfare-state systems.
– The American health care system is inferior to that of all other wealthy countries (see last week’s column).
This list in no way differs from a list of Leftist positions. Nor would any other list of “world opinion” positions differ in any meaningful way from Leftist positions.
Why is that?

Soviet-Style Parade in Red Square

I heard the new President spoke for a couple of minutes and Putin spoke for over half an hour. Will the real Russian leader please stand up?

Nuclear missiles and tanks paraded Friday across Red Square for the first time since the Soviet era but new President Dmitry Medvedev warned other nations against “irresponsible ambitions” that he said could start wars.
Marching bands and 8,000 troops goose-stepped across the square, followed by a huge display of heavy weapons including Topol-M ballistic missiles and T-90 tanks, and a fly-by of warplanes.
Reviewing his first parade as commander in chief, Medvedev warned against “irresponsible ambitions” that he said could spark war across entire continents.
Alongside the new president was his mentor and now prime minister, Vladimir Putin,
Earlier Putin said the parade was not “sabre-rattling” but “a demonstration of our growing defence capability.”
On Thursday Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said his country and Russia had come close to war “several days ago” after Russia ramped up support for separatists controlling Georgia’s Abkhazia region.

The Wellsian not-so-new idea

clipped from skarbutts.wordpress.com
“The end of all intelligent analysis is to clear the way for synthesis.”- H.G. Wells
There are relatively few individuals today who would not take offense to being called a fascist. This was not always so, for before and during the 1930s even though Western societies in general rejected philosophies of fascism, the term had nowhere near the stigma that it does today, and many were drawn to its “progressive” concepts.
During that time, one individual who embraced the ideas of both fascism and liberalism was HG Wells. Before Hitler and Mussolini brought infamy to the term fascism, Wells had referred to himself as a “liberal fascist” and put forward a theory of revolutionary praxis centered around a concept he described as “liberal fascism”.
The end result envisioned was a group of authoritarian elitists ruling over a global liberal utopia, a benevolent oligarchy for the “good” of mankind.
“When analyzing the ideas and philosophies of liberalism today, if in comparison we look back at Wells’s concept of liberal fascism, we have a very close match. Yes, Wells’s liberal fascism is still alive, but that is not what it is called – It is called “progressive”.

“Wells would become more of an activist concentrating his efforts on affecting global change by offering a collection of essays, books, and novels, which often began with the world rushing to catastrophe, until people realize a better way of living. It is not surprising then to know that it was Wells who penned the slogan “The war to end all war” and that he was a member of the Research Committee for the League of Nations believing it was a beginning step to fulfillment of this vision.”

Who is Antonio Gramsci? – You Better Learn

WSJ writer, “[Fonte] defines the ideological split in America as a contest between present-day Tocquevillians and disciples of the 20th-century Italian philosopher Antonio Gramsci, who drew on the ideas of Friedrich Hegel and Karl Marx. The Tocquevillians incline toward individualism, religious belief and patriotism. The Gramscians see any society, including America, as an arena where the “marginalized” are necessarily at war with the privileged classes.
As we know, political events do not happen in a vacuum. There are always causes. Ideas that were deemed a failure decades ago can be successfully implemented today. In the world of ideas, decades are often only an incubation period and today Gramsci s ideas are very much alive in the political arena.
Gramsci wrote his 33 books. They contain very shrewd insights on how a “capitalist, bourgeois society” works and how it can be taken over peacefully and dominated through a systematic change of its ideas.

  blog it

“His methods became in fact, the “field manual” for the many that followed. If you understand Gramsci, you will understand the “peculiar” and “weird” theories that are in vogue today. And you will understand that they are not the work of “weird crazy people” but rather of calculating and quite intelligent operatives.”I IMPLORE all Right-thinking people to educate themselves on the ideas of Materialists. They are more prevalent now than they ever have been. You need to know what is behind the trends in HIgher Education, Political Correctness, Environmentalism, The thousand or so political action, interest groups that tear the fabric of America (ACLU, NEA, Think Progress, Moveon.org and a thousand others. They are founded in Progressive/Marxist/Materialist views.

Pakistan: No good options

I would only add this:
79% of Pakistanis want “Strict application of Sharia law in every Islamic country”
74% of Pakistanis agree with the goal of “unifying all Islamic countries into a single Caliphate.” (see what that actually means,

  blog it

From article:
Yes, Mrs. Bhutto is very popular, showing her drawing more support (63 percent) than both Osama bin Laden (he gets a disturbingly large 46 percent) and Gen. Musharraf (38 percent). But Shariah, or Islamic law, is popular, too. As Jeffrey Imm points out at The Counterterrorism Blog, the same poll and another from World Public Opinion indicate that between 60 and 76 percent of Pakistanis seek more Shariah throughout Pakistan. This is anything but “moderate.” In fact, this popular desire for Shariah dovetails nicely with Taliban plans to turn Pakistan into an all-Shariah state.when asked by World Public Opinion to rank government priorities, Pakistanis listed defeating “al Qaeda, the Taliban and other Jihadi groups” dead last – the will of the Pakistani people looks unlikely to amount to an asset, for example, to American troops fighting in the region. And aren’t troops in harm’s way to protect our national security our real moral imperative?

Meet Robert Pastor

As we are taught in grade school, George Washington is the Father of our nation. If the North American Union comes into existence as the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) asserts, then we all better get prepared for a new hero. Robert Pastor is the person most likely to be proclaimed the father of the North American Union, a designation consistent with his decades-long history of viewing U.S. national interests through the lens of an extreme leftist almost anti-American political philosophy.
he participated on the Ad Hoc Working Group on Latin America, which produced a 1977 report, “The Southern Connection: Recommendations for a New Approach to Inter-American Relations,” arguing for the U.S. to abandon our anti-communist allies in Latin America in favor of supporting “ideological pluralism,” a code word for the revolutionary socialist forces taking hold in Latin America, including the communist Sandanistas and other revolutionary terrorist groups

  blog it

From Article:

“From February 1975 to January 1977, Dr. Pastor was executive director of the Linowitz Commission on U.S./Latin American Relations. The Linowitz Commission supported President Carter’s decision to negotiate a treaty to turn over the Panama Canal to Panama.

Dr. Pastor has also co-authored a 1989 book with his long-time friend, Jorge G. Castaeda, who began his career as a member of the Mexican Communist Party. Castaeda, a life-long admirer of the radical left, published in 1998 an admiring biography of the revolutionary Che Guevara. Castaeda, like Pastor, has sought to work in government positions to implement his theories.

Robert Pastor argued in an article in CFR’s Foreign Affairs, “that the United States would benefit by giving up U.S. national Sovereignty.” Countries are benefited “when they changed these [national sovereignty] policies, and evidence suggests that North Americans are ready for a new relationship that renders this old definition of sovereignty obsolete.”

Russia: Attacking Iran is attacking us

Russia: Attacking Iran is attacking us
Iran and Russia have agreed on plans to quash Washington’s relentless drive towards launching an attack on Iran.

  blog it

This is a dramatic development. Never before have Iran and Russia had this sort of allied arrangement. This is truly dire. The consequences of this alignment will have the Christian eschatologists in high tempo. Not to mention that the table is now set for very tense days ahead.
A nuclear armed Iran WILL attack Israel. Iranian threats against Israel have not been the least bit vague.
The Facist Iranian regime is the epitome of evil. I suggest all Americans take it upon themselves to learn the theology of the Iranian leaders, the system of Iranian government, the writings and speeches of Ahmedinejad and the ruling clerics, the actions of Iran against the U.S. military in the region, the politics of the region including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, the fragile nature of the U.S. economy, and other world issues like Venezuela and China. The perfect storm is looming.

“What we have brought to Russia, we will bring to America a hundred-fold”. Osama Bin-Laden.

The truth is out there if you want to find it. School districts in America have been alerted. There are news articles about schematics of American schools found in terrorist hide-outs in Iraq and Afghanistan, there are terrorist training tapes of jihadists holding mock school raids and speaking in english, school buses have been stolen in some cities throughout America, School bus radios have been stolen, and many in school districts throughout America have been made aware of this potential.
The goal: To unleash untold horror in the streets of America and try to turn us into the animals they are. Beslan was a trial run.

The Next Great Pseudo-Science

The goal of research in evolutionary psychology is to discover and understand the design of the human mind. Evolutionary psychology is an approach to psychology, in which knowledge and principles from evolutionary biology are put to use in research on the structure of the human mind. It is not an area of study, like vision, reasoning, or social behavior. It is a way of thinking about psychology that can be applied to any topic within it.In this view, the mind is a set of information-processing machines that were designed by natural selection to solve adaptive problems faced by our hunter-gatherer ancestors. This way of thinking about the brain, mind, and behavior is changing how scientists approach old topics, and opening up new ones. This chapter is a primer on the concepts and arguments that animate it.

I’ve been reading a lot about this over the past few months. Talk about the brave new world. This is the next step in Materialist influence. It will make political correctness look like child’s play. If they can pawn global warming off, then this will be a snap. Get ready for more useful idiots to engage in the esoteric-eroticism while not having a clue what they are talking about.
